Transgender elected as a mayor of the commune in France

The first time in the history of France transgender, 55, elected as a Mayor of the commune, reports French media.

Allegedly, Mary Co became the Mayor of Tulia-le-Machen.

“I am very happy that you selected me… I must admit that it was not obvious from the beginning,” – said Mary Co.

France-Presse informs that Mary Co is an engineer by profession and has the diploma of agricultural engineer and served in the army. She is bringing up three children.
