Turkey earthquake death toll reaches 24

The death toll of the Izmir earthquake in western Turkey has increased to 24, the Turkish Agency for Emergency Situations and Natural Disasters stated.

Under the latest data, the number of victims of the natural disaster hits 804.

The earthquake hit the city of Izmir in western Turkey, with the epicenter d in the Aegean Sea in the depth of 16.5 km.

As the Turkish Interior Ministry says, the earthquake destroyed six houses.

The natural disaster also hit Samos Island, Greece, and claimed two teenagers' lives.
