Turkey opens a new transport route, ensuring communication with Azerbaijan and Central Asia, Turkish media say.
Reports say the new shipping route of the international company P&O Maritime Logistics will connect Central Asia directly with Turkey.
Regular container shipping at low prices will be carried out via the new route.
It will reportedly improve trade between Turkey, Russia, and Central Asia.
Currently, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line operates from Europe to Asia.
