"South Carolina State Park has released photos of a rare find - a two-headed tortoise," the park's employees wrote about it on Facebook.
The tortoise was found by volunteers last week.
"Patrol and volunteers found three small tortoises that have not yet fully hatched. One of them had two heads," the statement said.
Later all the tortoises were released into the ocean.
