As a result of the explosion two people died in the city of Azov, Rostov region. The explosion was caused by gas leakage. TASS reports based on Emergency Management Ministry’s information.
The accident occurred in t three-storied residential building. The house was set on fire as a result of the explosion. Fifty-nine people and sixteen fire extinguishing technique participated in the fire elimination.
According to Victor Kosov, Deputy Head of the Rostov Emergency Situation Service, sixty people were evacuated from the residential building. The affected citizens were temporarily placed in a hotel.
