The U.S. will not send its troops back to Afghanistan, according to Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby.
According to Kirby, there is no plan envisaging returning American servicemen to Afghanistan.
Following President Joe Biden's decision, America has ended its peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, and they will start withdrawing troops from the country on May 1. The withdrawal process is set to end on Sept 11.
