Ugur Sahin says by end of summer quarantine will no longer be in need

In the fall, Europe will gain control of the coronavirus pandemic, and quarantine will no longer be needed; Ugur Sahin, the creator of the first coronavirus vaccine and founder of the pharmaceutical company BioNTech, told Welt Am Sonntag.

“In many countries of Europe and the United States at the end of the summer, presumably, there will be no more quarantine. There will probably be small outbreaks (diseases), mutations, but they will no longer be able to scare us,” Ugur Shahin said.

He says countries must vaccinate at least 70% of their population against coronavirus.
