US Congress approves Biden's victory

At a joint session of both houses of the US Congress, the victory of Joe Biden in the November 3 presidential election got approved.

Democrat Joe Biden received 270 votes in the Electoral Board.

The outcome of this session will conclude the summary of the results of the November presidential election and end the dispute over who becomes the next head of the US administration.

The meeting was held amid unrest in Washington, during which supporters of the current US President, Donald Trump, stormed the Capitol.

Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th.
