US President Joseph Biden said he has his theory regarding the origin of the coronavirus, the official website of the White House reports.
"I have theories, but I'm not a scientist. I'm going to wait until the scientific community makes that judgment," he said.
Experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) believe that in 2019 a new type of coronavirus in Wuhan city was more widespread than official figures indicate.
The WHO experts consider the version of the creation of COVID-19 in laboratory conditions less likely.
According to virologists, there are four versions of coronavirus's appearance among humans - transmission from animals, from any intermediate link, frozen foods, or the virus's laboratory origin.
