US President Donald Trump congratulates Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on signing a ceasefire in Karabakh. Donald Trump published the statement on the official Twitter page. Trump responded to the new ceasefire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which will take effect this morning.
"Congratulations to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who just agreed to adhere to a ceasefire effective at midnight. Many lives will be saved. Proud of my team, Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, Steve Biegun, and National Security Council for getting the deal done!" Trump wrote.
