US to launch vaccination for COVID-19 on December 14

The vaccination campaign for the novel coronavirus infection begins in the US on December 14.

The BioNTech and Pfizer-developed vaccine will be provided to 145 vaccination centers.

The vaccine transportation has already begun. It will be given first to the health officials and nursery homes.

The COVID-19 vaccine, developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, has not been approved or licensed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

It has issued an emergency use authorization for the vaccine.

Vaccinations will be available to US citizens over 16 years old, the Pfizer official website reports.
