WHO chief says more coronavirus variants will emerge globally

The WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in his speech that coronavirus keeps mutating, with its new variants emerging globally and yet to emerge.

''WHO has warned that COVID-19 virus has been changing since it was first reported, and it continues to change.

So far, four variants of concern have emerged, and there will be more as long as the virus continues to spread,'' Ghebreyesus said.
