WHO urges countries not to lift restrictions prematurely

The World Health Organization (WHO) called on countries not to lift restrictions. According to the appeal published by the organization, a hasty decision could lead to a new wave of the virus.

"One of the most important things is for countries not to lift restrictions early so that we don't go back and prevent the virus from spreading once again. It's like when you're sick, and you get out of bed, still sick, and start jogging. At times like this, the disease may worsen," WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier stated.
