Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has become infected with the coronavirus. The mayor's press secretary, Hakob Karapetyan, reported, Armenian media say.
The mayor will be on leave for some time due to this illness, and during that time, his respective duties will be temporarily carried out by first deputy mayor Hrachya Sargsyan, Armenian media outlets report.
