The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs responded to the confrontation between the locals in Dmanisi.

According to Alexander Darakhvelidze, the investigation has been launched, and all the culprits will be brought to justice.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation. Relevant operative-investigative actions are underway. Specific individuals are identified, and measures provided by law will be taken against them. The investigation into the incident will continue under the articles that will be revealed, and all those who committed the crime will be brought to justice," Alexandre Darakhvelidze said.

A confrontation took place between two groups in Dmanisi yesterday. The reason for the fight was the refusal of the store to give the customer the product with the promise that the individual would pay for it later.

The attackers were armed with batons. All members of the opposing parties were questioned by the police yesterday, the interrogations continuing today. According to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexander Darakhvelidze, the case is being investigated under the article of violence.

Dmanisi Mayor Giorgi Tatuashvili responded to the incident.
