There was an attempt to burn two branches of the supermarket "Farfour" in Batumi. One of the eyewitnesses on King Parnavaz Street said that around 06:00 am, unidentified persons broke the glass of a grocery store and tried to burn the store.
As for the second store, footage taken from a surveillance video camera is spread, where it can be seen that in another store of the same network, on the airport highway, masked persons broke into the facility and set it on fire.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation is underway under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates damage or destruction of an item.
