During the last month, customs officers searched the Red Bridge customs checkpoint on suspicion of importing undeclared diesel fuel from Azerbaijan, preventing more than 16 730 liters of undeclared diesel from entering the country.
As the Revenue Service told report.ge, the import of unregistered products is mainly carried out by truck drivers with homemade fuel tanks.
According to the agency, according to Article 168 of the Customs Code of Georgia, this is a violation of the law and is punishable by a fine as a sanction.
