Reportedly, among three hostages who left the bank building along with the captor is the head of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department, Avto Galdava. Reports also fly that Mayor Giorgi Shengelaia's cousin Lasha Shengelaia is also together with the assailant.
Galdava is presumably the official who brought money to the assailant and stayed with the captor after he released his victims.
No further official reports have yet been released.
