Three members of organized crime group were arrested in Kakheti on charges of fraud.
The investigation revealed that the accused had secretly installed special electrical circuits on the scales at wineries and cereal enterprises in the Kakheti and manipulated the scales with remote controls.
As a result, they inflicted material damage to enterprises and citizens. One of the detainees has already been convicted of robbery and fraud.
The crime envisages from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment.
