pSamegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police department of MIA investigated and solved the August 8 dacoity case.
“A persistent offender, born in 1957, R.G. is arrested. He is facing 8-12-year charges. The investigation stated that the person, together with a group of criminals, rushed into a house in Zveli Senaki village, subtracted mobile phones and money from the house residents under the threat of a gun, and escaped from the scene. Law enforcers found all robbed items in personal search: the robbed mobile phones and illegally purchased weapons and five cartridge units. The expertise is scheduled. The investigation is underway to identify other persons involved in this crime. The crime corresponds to article 179 part 2 “b” and part 3 “b” of the criminal code.” – reads the statement by MIA.
