"Employees of the Department of Environmental Supervision revealed two illegal sawmills in Adjara," the Department of Environmental Supervision spreads information.
According to them, unregistered workshops have been identified in the village of Brili in Shuakhevi Municipality and in the village of Namonastrevi in Khulo Municipality.
"Employees of the Adjara and Guria Regional Division of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture identified unregistered sawmills.
Citizens had set up illegal sawmills in their backyards.
Both of these facts contain signs of a criminal offense. The materials were sent to the relevant agencies for further response," the statement reads.
