The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a person accused of injuring three minors in Tbilisi yesterday.
The detainee himself is a minor. He faces up to 16-20 years in prison.
"Employees of the Vake-Saburtalo and Didube Chugureti Main Divisions of the Juvenile Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative actions arrested L.M., born in 2007, in Tbilisi on charges of attempted premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against minors.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 16 to 20 years in prison. The investigation established that on September 13 of 2021, a detainee in Tbilisi, on the grounds of a dispute, inflicted multiple wounds with a cold weapon on G.B., born in 2007, B.Kh., born in 2006, and G.M., born in 2006.
Police arrested L.M. A few hours after the incident, he was arrested in hot pursuit. The law enforcers seized the weapon of the crime - a knife - as evidence. The investigation is underway under Article 19-109 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates attempted premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances," mentions the information spread by the agency.
