A murder took place in Tbilisi. Law enforcers arrested C.A., on charges of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, storage and carrying of firearms. The Ministry of Internal Affairs spreads information about the incident.
"The investigation revealed that the accused killed a relative G.G., born in 1968, on Paata Janelidze Street in Tbilisi, on the grounds of revenge. The charged shot him in the chest and fled the scene. As a result of the wound G.G., died on the spot.
Law enforcers arrested C.A., a few hours after the incident. During his search, the police seized a firearm as evidence - a Makarov pistol," the agency said.
The investigation is underway on the facts of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, storage, carrying of firearms, Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, and Parts 3 and 4 of Article 236.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
