"The investigation established that the accused made 563 pieces in the shape and size of 1-GEL coins, which he had transferred to his wife's account using the fast cash registers, from where he subsequently cashed the money.
During the search of a private house, up to 30 handmade coins and equipment for making these coins were seized. The crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 4 to 7 years," said the statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.
