Police have arrested a man who faces charges with making his 11-year-old child commit suicide, Georgia's Interior Ministry reports.
Police officers detained the man in Terjola, western Georgia.
The investigation showed that the child, identified only as A.A., was found dead on August 23, in one of the villages of Terjola Municipality.
The investigation showed that the detainee systematically committed violence against his child that allegedly made the 11-year-old victim commit suicide.
The investigation is in progress. The detainee faces two to four years in jail.
