Law enforcement officers arrested M.G., born in 2000, on charges of theft. The juvenile brother of the detainee, L.G., born in 2004, has been exposed for committing the same crime.
The investigation established that the brothers - M.G. and L.G., on July 7 of 2021, stole various items from the St. George Church in the village of Khashmi, Sagarejo Municipality.
The investigation is underway under Article 177, Part 2, Subparagraph "a" and Part 3, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies a theft committed by the group by prior agreement, which caused significant damage.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 4 to 7 years in prison.
