Employees of the Old Tbilisi Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of search and investigation activities, arrested M.P., born in 1981, a former convict and currently on probation in Tbilisi. He is accused of illegal purchase and storage of a particularly large amount of drugs.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 8 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the search of the detainee's personal and residential house, the police seized 164 grams of heroin and 83 grams of amphetamine as evidence.
