Employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service, in cooperation with the relevant service of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, based on the judge's decision, arrested the head of the Kachreti Service Center of the Agricultural Logistics and Services Company Ltd for taking bribes. The State Security Service spreads the information about this.
"By bypassing the transfer of the amount officially determined by the relevant agreement and order to the bank account of the company, in exchange for cultivating 15 hectares of land with the equipment owned by the Agricultural Logistics and Services Company, the mentioned person took GEL 8 465 as a bribe and misappropriated it.
An investigation is underway into the fact of taking bribes, which envisages imprisonment for a term of 6 to 9 years," the statement reads.
