Employees of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Adjara and Tbilisi Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained three people in Tbilisi and Batumi together with the District Prosecutor's Office of Western Georgia as a result of intensive investigative actions.
Based on a judge's ruling, the following are detained on the charge of membership in the "thieves 'world" and support of the activities of the "thieves' world": D.Q., born in 1971, (nicknamed "Dato Tbiliski"), convicted in the past, G.L., born in 1961, also convicted in the past and I.K., born in 1978.
The offenses carry a sentence of 3 to 10 years in prison.
