Recently wounded Tsotne Gamsakhurdia is being operated at the hospital. He has reportedly sustained stab wounds to the chest and neck. The incident happened in Vera district, in the vicinity of the Kolkhuri Koshki (family house of the Gamsakhurdias). Witnesses say that they heard noise and later found Gamsakhurdia unconcious.
The investigation into the case is in progress under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging predetermined murder crimes.
No one has been apprehended yet.
