The suspects accused of stabbing Tsotne Gamsakhurdia will be officially charged today. The investigators accuse the suspects in the assassination attempt and harboring the crime.
The detained are placed in a pretrial detention facility.
According to Gamsakhurdia’s barrister, he is wounded by a knife. He also states that the incident followed the verbal altercation.
The son of the first Georgian President, Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, was wounded late at night on December 19. He has two surgeries and remains on controlled respiration.
