The investigation is underway into the so-called massage salons on Gamsakhurdia street in Batumi. It has reportedly been launched under article 54 of the Criminal Code envisaging prostitution crimes and, in particular, giving away working space for provision of sexual services.
In accordance with the legislation of Georgia, putting up property for rent or sale, which later will be used to offer sexual services to customers is punished with a fine or imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
