Actress Patricia Hitchcock O'Connell, the only daughter of famous director Alfred Hitchcock, died at the age of 93, Variety reports.
The actress's daughter, Katie, said Patricia Hitchcock died in California on August 9th.
Patricia was the only child of Alfred Hitchcock and his wife, film editor Alma Reville. In 1939 the family left Britain and settled in Los Angeles.
The actress starred in her father's two films - the detective "Strangers on a Train" (1950) and the thriller "Psycho" (1960).
In the 1950s, she starred in more than a dozen episodes of the series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."
According to media reports, the actor died of natural causes.
