An exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Zviad Gamsakhurdia, the first President of Georgia will take place at the Palace of Art on October 18.
The exhibition will feature unique video, audio and archival documents, which will show many interesting and unfamiliar stories of Zviad Gamsakhurdia's political and public activities.
Visitors will also be able to view unique photos and archival documents of The Washington Post, from 1989-1992 reflecting Georgia's political situation.
October 28 was selected as the opening date of the exhibition. The main reason is that the first democratic and multi-party elections were held in Georgia on October 28, 1990.
The exhibition will last until November 10.
