With the support of Tbilisi City Hall, Jansug Kakhidze Tbilisi Music and Cultural Center will host a new festival named after the great Georgian musician - singer, choir conductor, folk song collector, and teacher, Anzor Erkomaishvili.
According to the Tbilisi City Hall, the festival was established to immortalize Anzor Erkomaishvili and express gratitude for the work he did for the survival and development of Georgian folklore.
The event's status is international; however, due to the situation in the world this year, it is not possible to bring folk ensembles from different countries. Due to this, only Georgian ensembles will present concert programs for the audience.
