Georgia’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth Tea Tsulukiani held a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Georgia Enrico Valvo.
Tsulukiani thanked Valvo for implemented projects and expressed hope for further deepening cooperation between the two countries in culture and sports.
Tea Tsulukiani noted that it is planned to create a register and a certification system in Georgia that will unite professionals to restore cultural heritage sites.
The officials discussed the issue of experts participating in the restoration of the roof of the Gelati monastery complex.
They focused that the invited specialists are citizens of Italy.
Ambassador Valvo expressed his readiness to support the ministry.
