“An exhibition titled, Georgia - Azerbaijan Friendship from Generation to Generation, took place in Baku with the participation of the Embassy of Georgia to Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia informed report.ge about the event.

The exhibition featured 150 works by 120 artists. The show reflected the friendship between Georgia and Azerbaijan from generation to generation, the culture, nature, and traditions of the two countries.

Speaking at the exhibition, Zurab Pataradze, the Georgian Ambassador spoke about relations between the two countries. The Ambassador noted that culture and art play an essential role in bringing people together and that the goal of the Embassy of Georgia is to contribute to further deepening of friendship. He thanked the Azerbaijanian artists who sincerely expressed their emotions and impressions on Georgia in their paintings.

At the end of the event, Zurab Pataradze presented diplomas to the authors of the works at the exhibition.

The Chief Executive Officers of Baku, representatives of the diplomatic corps and Georgian diaspora, attended the event together with the guests.
