Popular Indian actor Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar died at the age of 99, TV channel NDTV spreads the information.
Kumar died at a Hindu hospital in Mumbai, where he was placed due to shortness of breath.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the actor.
"Dilip Kumar will be remembered as a cinematic legend. He had incomparable talent that delighted listeners of different generations. His death is a loss for our cultural world. I offer my condolences to his family, friends, and many admirers," the politician said.
Kumar was admitted to the clinic on June 6th. He was connected to an oxygen machine.
