On 5 March, The FIPRESCI International Federation of Film Critics named its favorite films in four sections before announcing winners of the Berlin International Film Festival.

The FIPRESCI awarded Alexander Koberidze's film What Do We See When We Look at the Sky? in the main competition.

The film was shown on 1 and 3 March at the Berlin International Film Festival and got a number of positive reviews from various reputable international magazines such as Screen International, Variety, IndieWire, Deadline, and others.

After The Sun of the Sleepless by Temur Babluani was awarded the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, a Georgian feature-length film has not been announced a winner. However, after 30 years, Alexander Koberidze's film has proved a felicitous exception.

What Do We See When We Look at the Sky? is a German-Georgian drama film written and directed by Alexandre Koberidze. The film stars Giorgi Bochorishvili, Ana Karseladze, Oliko Barbakadze, Giorgi Ambroladze and Vakhtang Fanchulidze.

The 71st International Film Festival Summer session will be held in June, with winners also announced the same month.
