With the US Embassy's support, the Movement Theater has launched the International Culture for Integration project in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. The premiere of Ioseb Bakuradze's play "Thirst" will take place on April 6-7 in Akhaltsikhe.

Within the first stage of the project, Ioseb Bakuradze, the Movement Theater's artistic director, staged the play "Thirst" by the American playwright Eugene O'Neill at the Meskheti Theater. It is a play without a language barrier for spectators of any nationality.

At the second stage, the Movement Theater representatives will hold master classes for local youth in Akhaltsikhe.

At the 3rd stage, on April 12, 13, 14, in 3 municipalities of Samtskhe-Javakheti - Ninotsminda, Akhalkalaki, Akhaltsikhe, a tour of the Georgian-American musical "Tamada in Manhattan" will take place.

American director Paul Gordon Emerson staged a Broadway-style musical, "Tamada in Manhattan," with the US Embassy's support. It is a joint work of the Washington Theater Сompany E, and the Movement Theater staged as part of the American-Georgian Theater Collaboration Project.

The US Embassy Alumni Grant Program funds the project.
