The First Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia, Kakha Sikharulidze, met with the Deputy Chairperson of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with the Diaspora Vagif Seyidbeyov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of deepening cooperation between the two countries in culture.
Kakha Sikharulidze noted that the centuries-old friendship between Georgia and Azerbaijan is based on respect for each other's cultural and historical values, which is important for the region.
The meeting also emphasized the planned visit of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, which will occur in June. The First Deputy Minister noted that the Georgian side would spare no effort.
