The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth has released a special statement in response to the comment made by the head of Writers' House.
''The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth is responding to the statement by Nata Lomouri, the head of the LEPL Writers' House under the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth of Georgia, saying that ''five people decide'' who the winners of literary prize Saba be.'' The statement was released in a TV company TV Pirveli program.
The ministry says that the statement has been made according to its issuer's personal opinion and has nothing to do with the position of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth,'' the statement reads.
