Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Oscars will be broadcasted simultaneously from several venues, including the Dolby Theater, the organizers of the event share the information.
"In order to create a show with the effect of attendance in person, which the world audience is waiting for, and to comply with the regulations related to COVID-19, the ceremony will be broadcasted from several places," said a representative of the Academy Awards.
In 2021, the Academy postponed the "Oscar" ceremony from February 28 to April 25. It is yet unknown who will host the show.
The nominees will be announced on March 15th.
