Tbilisi's International Student Film Festival held online amidst pandemic

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia, the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University is hosting Tbilisi's International Student Film Festival, which is being held online.

Within the Festival, the first feature-length film project development competition will be held, with 17 young producers presenting the first feature film projects. Three best novice producers' feature films will be selected by a special jury.

Tbilisi's International Student Film Festival comprises five best film schools from five countries, which are as follows: Germany, Poland, Israel, Argentina, and Georgia; the 120 min film programs are being live-streamed.

The Festival will end on 6 November, with winners awarded pecuniary prizes for producing the best fiction, documentary, and animated films.

Tbilisi's International Student Film Festival is being held under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia and the Georgian National Film Center (GNFC). The Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University is implementing the project.
