In the framework of UK/Georgia 2019 Season, the British Council in cooperation with the Georgian National Museum and the British Museum exhibited the coin of Davit Aghmashenebeli.It is the only coin remaining with the image of Davit Aghmashenebeli created in the period of his reign (1089-1125).
The exhibit is kept in British Museum.It will be exhibited in Georgia during two months.Interested persons can see it in the National Museum.It is also possible to see the coin on-line through the specially created digital platform.
UK/Georgia 2019 Season is a special program created by the British Council and the British Embassy and consisting of more than 60 events launched in September, 2019 and will last till December.
