"We are launching the project Under Tbilisi Sky, which was quite successful last year," Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at a capital's government meeting.
On August 1 and 2, 2 concerts with Georgian pop stars' participation will take place in the newly rehabilitated park of the third micro-district of Varketili. Also, Tbilisi City Hall Big Band will perform in front of the audience on August 1 in Gldani Renewed Park. Musical evenings will be held next week in Mziuri, Kikvidze Park, and Red Garden.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the budget will increase for the development of cultural spheres.
"Tbilisi City Hall is actively working to promote culture. We will increase the budget to help the representatives of the cultural sphere, within the framework of our projects, such a festival as Art-Gene, Sukhishvili's new project "Artefacts", music project in Tskneti, in the forest. We are starting the project Under Tbilisi Sky, which was quite successful last year. We want to remind you that we will continue active communication with the owners of bars and nightclubs to provide them with free municipal spaces for temporary use free of charge," Kaladze said.
