Scott Frank, the director and executive producer of the popular TV series "The Queen's Gambit," says that the Netflix project will not continue. He told the publication Deadline about it.
"I feel like we told the story we wanted. I'm worried that if we try to tell more, we're going to ruin what's already there," Scott said.
He said project participants are looking for a different story to screen.
"The Queen's Gambit" was released in 2020. According to Netflix, 68 million families watched the series 28 days after the release. The series has won two nominations for the Golden Globe Awards and is nominated for 18 nominations at the Emmy Awards this year.
