The 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) took place in the United States. The main prize went to the actors of Aaron Sorkin's film The Trial of the Chicago 7. Michael Keaton is the only live actor who has won this award three times.
Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the film Black Bottom Ma Rainey, was recognized as the best actor, while Viola Davis won the same nomination but in the female category.
As for the TV projects, the drama series award was given to "The Crown."
Anya Taylor-Joy has been named Best Actress for her role in the mini-series "The Queen's Gambit." The best actor in the same category was Mark Ruffalo, who starred in the TV series "I Know This Much Is True."
