At the MTV Europe Music Awards 2021, the most awards went to the British singer Ed Sheeran and the South Korean band BTS.
The award ceremony was held this year in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, and was attended by spectators. BTS won in the categories of "Best Pop Act," "Best Band," "Best K-Pop Band," and "Best Fans." Sheeran was named "Best Artist of the Year" and "Best Songwriter" for the song Bad Habits.
The winners of Eurovision, the Italian band Måneskin was named the best rock band of the year. The presenter of the evening, Saweetie, won the nomination "Best New Artist," and Nicki Minaj became the best hip-hop artist. Lil Nas X's Montero was named the best video of the year.
