1300 flights across Europe will be canceled today due to strike of German Lufthansa airline employees. The strike will last for 48-hours and is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The airline estimates that the strike will likely affect more than 180,000 passengers.
According to Deutsche Welle passengers can change tickets only on international flights, in case of domestic flights, they can exchange airline tickets for train tickets online.
Employees of the company are demanding an increase in salaries and improved working conditions.
According to Deutsche Welle, the delay could affect Lufthansa's subsidiaries, Eurowings and SunExpress.
